Guide to our prescription service

If you require a one-off prescription, or a renewal, a private prescription service with free home delivery could save you time. Avoid the stress that comes with collecting your prescription from your doctor, taking it to a pharmacy and collecting your medications, and use Dr Mistry’s private prescription service to have your medications delivered straight to your door.

How does our private prescription service work?

In order to access the private prescription service, you need to register with Dr Mistry. This can be done by contacting his secretaries.

Step 1

You can either go to your online patient portal and in the drop down menu select Private Prescription. Or contact Dr Mistry’s secretaries and request a private prescription.

Step 2

Once your request has been received, a private prescription invoice will be sent to you by email.

*This can take up to 10 minutes to be sent*

Step 3

You will also be emailed a secure link where you can send a message directly to Dr Mistry to confirm which medication you require.

Step 4

Once the private prescription invoice has been settled, the prescription will be sent to the pharmacy. You will be able to view/download a copy of the authorised prescription from your patient portal.

Step 5

The pharmacy that Dr Mistry has partnered with, will contact you directly to confirm the delivery address for your medication.

Renewing your prescription

Renewing your prescription with Dr Mistry is quick and easy.

Step 1: Go to your patient portal and from the drop down menu labelled select a service, select Private Prescription.

Step 2: Once your request has been received, a private prescription invoice will be sent to you by email. *This can take up to 10 minutes to be sent*

Step 3: You will also be emailed a secure link where you can send a message directly to Dr Mistry to confirm which medication you require.

Step 4: Once the private prescription invoice has been settled, the prescription will be sent to the pharmacy. You will be able to view/download a copy of the authorised prescription from your patient portal.

Step 5: The pharmacy that Dr Mistry has partnered with, will contact you directly to confirm the delivery address for your medication.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, Dr Mistry would need to see you before he is able to issue private prescriptions.

Usually no, although in some cases Dr Mistry may need to see you for a medication review before renewing the prescription.

Medications can be delivered to any address within the UK, as long as this is discussed and agreed with the pharmacy.

In the central London area (zones 1 & 2), medications can be delivered on the same day, and usually within 24 hours. Outside London, medications can usually be delivered within 3-4 working days.

There are no delivery charges for Dr Mistry’s private prescription service.

The pharmacy will charge a separate fee for the medication(s).

The pharmacy that Dr Mistry has partnered with is based in central London, not too far from Harley Street. Patient’s wishing to collect their medications in person can do so 7 days per week.

Dr Mistry will ensure that an authorised copy of your prescription is available for you to view and download via your secure patient portal.

Dr Mistry’s private prescriptions are issued for 28 days.

Dr Mistry is not an ADHD specialist, and is unable to prescribe medications for this condition.

Dr Mistry is unable to prescribe medication for patients below the age of 18.
