Dr Mistry’s specialties: psychiatry and sleep medicine
Mental health disorders are common, affecting up to 1 in 8 people worldwide. Mental health conditions and sleep disorders are closely linked, often exacerbating each other in a complex bidirectional relationship.
Dr Mistry's approach to mental health and sleep
Most common mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression are associated with disturbed sleep, and depression itself, as well as certain antidepressant medications can disrupt the structure of your sleep. Good quality sleep is essential for facilitating a recovery from mental health difficulties.
Dr Mistry’s holistic approach towards improving your mental health includes a detailed assessment to screen for any sleep disturbances, and offering specialist guidance on how to optimise your sleep to help secure a lasting recovery.

In person and telehealth consultations
Dr Mistry offers face-to-face consultations at one of his central London clinics. Alternatively, you can consult with Dr Mistry via a virtual consultation for flexibility.
